Oh man.... it is a major problem here with copper theft! SO works for the utility company, and he has been working SOOOO much trying to keep lights lit...as soon as they get them up again it seems someone steals the copper. What a pain!!
And too bad about the gun, that neighbor is just too nosey for his own good, but maybe he meant well. We have nosey neighbors as well...we have a corner house, so they are directly behind our yard. But at least they are nosey in a good way...we know nobody will ever break in through our back yard!
We worried when we moved in, because they are an older couple, and we have three young, noisy boys. So we let them know if the kids got too wild and bothered them, let us know. But just the opposite. They had three boys as well, who are grown and on their own, so they love to sit out back and listen to our boys running around and yelling. A couple of years ago, my two were at their dad's, and SS had gone to Panama with his mom, and she came over inquiring about the kids because they missed the noise, LOL. They even found it funny when SS and YDS blew their rain gauge off the fence with a beebee gun. And this was a small, no power gun, so they had to have hitting it close range and multiple times. Their reason? They wondered what would happen...
