I don't know...I seriously can't imagine anything that would make me kill my kids. And, don't know if it is the case here, but possibly since it was a conversation between the parents that led for mom to request a welfare check, parents do this stuff to "get back" at the other parent, and that really sucks. it sucks all around, and it's only about 10 miles away.
