SO Pilate wanted to follow the LAW...so he executed an innocent man and set a murderer free? Under ROMAN law, that is RIDICULOUS, and never would have occurred. Of course ROMAN law and basises for their justice system are DOCUMENTED...but, of course, the BIBLE, which has been PROVEN wrong in many ways says differently, so you choose to believe THAT.
