Yeah, the one time I physically went to HRBlock they just made up stuff because I didn't have all my paperwork. Just throwing down numbers. It was scary actually. Thinking back, I've made so many mistakes doing my own taxes. Including parking and medical/dental premiums was one. Using the entire car tag price instead of just the ad valorem taxes. Oh what else...all kinds of little mistakes. I've got it down to a science now. I pull together all my numbers first. Write it all down. Then get on the computer to file. It makes it so much easier and faster. I got my W2 today. I'll be paying off my car with my refund.
