My post will be based on years of reading about how much trouble Gr8 has with all of his kids schools. History repeats itself a lot in this regard. If it is not one thing it is another. And the kids are NEVER wrong.
I would assume all of these schools know you and your kids very well. And if you treat them the way you treat people here, I would assume they think you are a [censored] stirrer. Maybe that is why they were not so quick to let him call you, because they thought it was just one more thing in a long line of stirring the pot…?.
If you text him to call you, why didn’t you just text him what you wanted to tell him. I can’t imagine that it could not wait. If I felt something was important enough to pull my kid away from class, (while he is being punished!) I would assume it would require me being there to talk in person or pull them out of school.
