I do have an appointment with an attorney to answer this question and some other issues. I want to clarify too that I don't get aid, he is the one who gets welfare. I only get SSDI,which is based on my earnings through my years of employment, not a goverment hand out.
Back to the original topic.My mom has been through a divorce here in California and she insists that since his income is was considere community property, even if he didnt file using my income, that some of that refund, is mine too. My guess is that he may have got around 6k. Ridiculous isn't it?
