Re: Comments?

On other systems you can block a user and you will not see their posts. Unfortunately, the admin of divorcesource doesn't make the feature available.

I've been using forums since the early 90's when they were still called BBS and were run on some persons personal computer sitting in their home. Disruptive people have always existed and always will.

Without some a block user feature, please follow these simple steps to virtually block them.

1. NEVER look at any post created by a person you find disruptive. Believe me, they get as much pleasure from see how many people VIEW their post as they do in replies.
2. NEVER respond to a post they create.
3. NEVER respond to a reply they post in another thread.
4. NEVER quote them, or even use their name in your posts.

Bottomline is to act as if they don't even exist. If you follow these steps, expect an even more obnoxious attempt to generate attention. They are like the crazy person you see standing on the street corner preaching the end of the world. They are only looking for attention.

Unfortunately with a forum such as divorcesource, there is always new people logging on. So these individuals will always have new people to try getting attention from.
