Dating during divorce/custody complications?

Hard to know where to start, so forgive me if I ramble, I was married 10 years, found out my wife had a prescription drug addiction and was having an affair, we had two young children together. We divorced and remarried about a year and a half later (long story). We separated in January after she got out of a 40 day rehab stay, and are currently divorcing again. She walked out, I have had the kids full time since then, she gets them every other weekend but this is a verbal agreement only. I ran into an old high school friend and we have become quite close over the last few months. She has met my children a few times, but always in an open public setting, but we wish to do more together with them. Does anyone have experience with dating after separation but during divorce in Arkansas and what bearing it may have on any custody decisions? Thanks in advance for any insight.

No bearing on custody, however, from personal experience, it's a BAD idea. Wait until you are emotionally and legally available - it will make a huge difference in your relationship down the road.

I was married for 9 years and during my divorce I went out on a date but even though she left me I felt I was cheating. It was also a bad date because all I spoke about was the divorce.
My bad...
