State Ordered Child Support Garnishments???

Is state ordered child support garnishments taken out
weekly, bi-weekly, monthly? And how do they base how much your going to pay???

---> It depends upon the father's pay periods. If he is paid monthly, then the amount is withheld in one lump some, if he is paid bi-weekly or weekly; then the monthly amount is multiplied times 12, then divided by the number of pay periods (26 for bi-weekly, 52 for weekly) and that amount withheld from each check.
And how do they base how much your going to pay???

It's weekly for us since my husband gets paid weekly.
