Over 9 years for my kids. They started school today. No new clothes, no new shoes, nothing. I just don't have the money. They're teenagers now and have come to hate their father. In fact, they've asked that I not refer to him as "your father" but by his first name.
Be careful what you ask for stuckinarut. You just might get it.

I guess the judge lost the judgment of divorce to sign...that would be funny...she wind up on the street with the kids! Taking this long to sign?

Your reply made no sense. Decree was signed, child support ordered, never paid.
If you find the thought of children living in the street humorous, you are one twisted soul.
Personally, my children are in a home of their own, well fed and all medical taken care of by ME for over 9 years. They may not be the best dressed kids in school, but when they get something, they appreciate it and know how hard I work to get it for them.
My kids have grown up a lot in those 9 years and have no respect for their father. They see this "man" for what he is, a piece of garbage.
You now have something to aspire to. Good luck with that.

I dont know if my decree was signed by the judge yet...its been over 3 months...court clerk won't give anyone any answers..says they are on a summer sessions can take several more weeks to get an answer...I'm still paying ex her temp support until we get an answer...her lawyer don't care, he's more interested about getting what is owed him out of the escrow account to pay his lawyer fees!

I went over 5 years without getting much of anything. The last two weeks, I have had deposits of $80.77 a week on my CS card. I didn't think I would live to see the day. He has never paid over $65 at a time.

I know my lawyer will come up with some strategy so I won't have to pay the arrears!
I heard it takes 6 to 8 wks in NY for a divorce judgment to be signed by a judge.
