alimony and reimbursement of tuition fees
Filed for divorce in MN, Oct 2006. Five year childless marriage. Wife worked part-time for about 4 months in total five years. She graduated Masters in 2004, but never worked. Tuition fees amounting to about 21,000.00 were paid by me. Case will most probably go to trial. Discovery in process, don't know if she is working now, she moved to a different state and is living with friends/family. I make about 75K. Will she get alimony? Also is there a way I can get a reimbursement of tuition fees I paid, from her (either in property settlement or as future payments from her). Lawyer says tough luck, you paid for tuition, it is considered as joint decision.

Tell your attorney "tough luck" and get a new attorney.
Since the Degree was aquired during the marriage, I would ask the courts to declare it an "asset" and YOU ask for alimony!.
