Telling our 10 yr old is next

Well, only posted here twice. We (mostly me) are telling our lil girl of the divorce this weekend.
By far the hardest thing I've ever done.
God bless and good luck to all who are going through these things.
Christ never said it would be easy, in fact He said it would NOT.

Good luck. I went through the same thing with my 6 & 9 year olds a month ago. It truly sucked and I agree is the hardest thing I hope I every have to do. Kids are so innocent and do not desearve a broken family. However, if it is handled correctly, they get through it. Just remember that. My thoughts are with you.

Kids are tougher than most people think, as long as they are assured both parents love and cherish them and they can count on being protected and have complete access to both parents, it should go ok. Mom and Dad are going to split up but both love you and will take care of you and be with you. He'll live.
