I don't know what is going on

I'm new here. I've been married 14 years with alot of problems over the years with my step daughter and her mother who caused most of the problems between us. Step daughter is now 27, my husband has detested his ex wife for causing so many of our problems and step daughters. There has been no communication between my husband and his ex since their daughhter was 18. Now Ex wife is going through a divorce and calling my husband at times 20X a day while he is working starting early morning until night, he leaves the room when I'm there and when he is off the phone he tells me its about their daughter and they are rehashing what went wrong in their marriage 20 years ago. I've told him that he is being disrespectful as is she to our marriage, I asked my husband to put a stop to the calls, he has refused saying EX needs a shoulder to cry on. What is your take on all of this? Becuase I've had it.

Personally I would tell him to either put a total stop to it, or find himself an attorney so the divorce can go forward.

As someone going through something similar (although he's not talking to an ex, but a co-worker), I'd talk to him and put it all out there. If he's not willing to be less secretive then he's guilty of something. You only hide something that you feel guilty enough to hid.

this is enough.. and you still believe him.. you should try to meet the ex of your husband and be clear about her intentions..
