Holiday Events

A question for partners in an "hostile divorce"-how do you handle holiday events if xh says "i'm not going if you will be there and i will not bring our son?" do I forfeit another event, for the sake of my child? xh is very hostile to me in front of child/public/teachers, etc. I know he looks bad-how do you handle a hostile ex?

What is the holiday event you're referring to?

Re: Holiday Events

If it's a school or other non-family event, whichever parent that has the child is the parent that should go. Ideally, both parents would attend, but if things are hostile between the parents, YES, it's best for you to forfeit if dad is the one with the child when the event occurs.
