I am stuck in an unhappy situation with my husband he has been divorced before and I was wondering if I can get an annullment on those grounds or do we have to get a divorce we have been married 2 yrs. I wished I had listened to my mother when she said he was no good for me LOL any help would be appreciated |

You cannot get an annulment simply because you're unhappy or because your husband was divorced in the past. However, you might qualify for an annulment if you can prove that he defrauded you (or tricked in on false pretenses on getting into the marriage), or other statutory grounds. In one recent annulment I handled, the husband get the marriage annulled because his wife refused to have children, and he alleged that she had promised him she would start a family, and her refusal to do so made that promise a fraud..
