Alimony chances in PA

Hi, I am currently getting divorced. Here is the short of it, please let me know if you think I have any chance receiving alimony.

20 years I got married, I had a son prior to the marriage, my husband had raised and supported him for all the years were were together, however never adopted him. We did not have children together. I do not drive and contributed nothing much to this marriage as my husband took care of working and most of the day to day issues, banking, cooking, shopping, etc.

Only for a few years during the marriage did I work. I attempted schooling but did not finish.

I got breast cancer and side effects from this have rendered me disabled, I am currently collecting SSDI.

Almost two years ago I walked out on this marriage. I am currently receiving temporary alimony, my divorce should be final with in the next 2 months.

Can anyone tell me if they have had something similar to this experience and what the outcome was for them?

I appreciate any help.

Re: Alimony chances in PA

Let's see:

You have no children together;
You contributed "nothing much" to the marriage;
and YOU are the one who walked out on the marriage

Legalities aside - WHY do you think in any way you deserve alimony ethically?
