husband has grandmas money
|

My husband left me homeless ran off with another woman and has the money his grandmother left him in her will I'm told I can't legally touch that money but he refuses to get a job can I still get alimony awarded being he has the means but no job

Sorry I'm in california and need all the. help I can get on this issue I. Go to court on Tuesday and have no idea what to say to the judge so I don't blow any chance I have of getting spport from a man that thinks my living in a shelter is good enough for me

Married for 11 years I'm not employed at this time but looking everyday my town has highest unemployment rate in california so I applied for general relief and foodstamps

Umm.....You're homeless, so you don't have a town.
Start with trying your luck in the town with the lowest unemployment rate,
Your stbx has money to live on.....you don't. You NEED a job. If his grandmother wanted you to have her money, she would have left it to you.
