fight the good fight

I stole that from a friend of mine.

HELLO FRIENDS!

I got big tears in my, "Sleepy little eyeballs," when I saw the hello and AWESOME NEWS from Mickilicious! Last I heard there was no marriage...son was very sick...and you were just being the giant you always have been. Promise me we'll sing togehter someday. You know, "Dis lady done got some blues."

For those who don't know who the heck this old gal is...I'm ginni from the old recovery board...married/divorced twice. Left this site b/c ex 2's wife got her jollies blasting me thread after thread. I decided it took up too much board space and split the posts, but kept on reading.

I'm a single mother of five amazing children. My oldest is going to college next year to study forensics. This is the first year all of my children have been in school...and what did I do...went back to school...again. This time a master's in Early Childhood Education...but am seriously considering Law School in Idaho. (I've tried to shake it for years...but like the herp...it keeps coming back.) My third child just got baptized...SO PROUD...and we're just having a good time be calm for a change.

I have to thank this board. My experience manuvering a message board has helped me being an online student in mega mondo ways.

To the newbies...it sounds cliche', but with time...anything can heal. You'll find your challenges stem from new and unusual places, but the orginal hurt tends to fade and you breathe and life goes on. You do become the wiser.

The one piece of advice I can offer from my own experiences is...no matter how hard you pray...everyone has their personal agency...and God can work miracles...only when people let him. If they're heck bent on what they will or will not do...Even God's not going to interfere.

Focus on yourself...your children...your family...and make the most of everyday. Sometimes that means getting out of bed...and other's it means running the marathon. Decide for you what YOU want...and never settle for anything less. Stay true to what you know is right...and you cannot fail.

FIGHT...THE GOOD FIGHT! and mikeypoo...beeskuts and gravee callin ur name son!

Love always,
ginni

Not to mention sandboxes, Cutie......

Since we last *spoke* my daughters left their mother's home and have their own now and the ex moved 440 miles away. Wife and I have lovely relationships with all five children now, plus in-laws and grandchildren.

It does get better!

Luv Ya!

Ginni,
even though you're a Dallas fan, after the post you just sent, I'll forgive your comment about the Steelers! Hey, I'm a newbie, & you're right. Time is what it takes. Time & God. I'm an impatient type, but with the help of my God, my pastor & a few close friends, I'm slowly learning. Although I'm posting in this forum, my main focus is my son. No matter the time, no matter the cost, I WILL get my son out of a truly disturbing home. My STBX is about 6 inches above th law in a lot of things she's doing. Your post gives encouragement to "hang in there-tomorrow is another day". Thanks,
Geoff

I cannot believe after all these years you still remember those sandbox talks. TOTALLY the best.

All I can say about your ex-monster is THANK GOODNESS! and GO GIRLS GO! It's about danged time.

I just finished a class with a man from Northern California facilitating. I SWEAR he was your twin. If I didn't know you were Mike and he was Tommy I'd have sworn it was you the entire time.

Tell Mrs. Peggy, "Howdy," for me!

ORANGEMEN!

The other day I was perusing the odd bargains at, "The Dollar General," and upon returning to my BMW (Big Mormon Wagon...van)...looked up to see a BRIGHT orange tag with Orangmen written across it. I laughed out loud! Brought back SO many wonderful memories. You are the best NancyO. Thank you for converting me to the ways of that, "Other," crayon color!

Love always,
ginnicougarblue

PS...my youngest daughter's favorite crayola is the one that matches macaroni and cheese. Could she be an Orangegirl someday? You betcha!

no no no

There was a car parked right in front of mine with a Orangemen tag on it silly.

It was as if you were saying, "Hello Girl. Haven't talked in awhile," hence my coming to the board.

Love always,
ginni

Re: fight the good fight

Hey my little blues girl.......I don't get here often and figured that when I had the chance to check the last message left it would be long gone. So great to see that you responded. I read the other crud about your ex's unsignificant other. Hey!!! What happened to my little tiger??? It's her problem if she can't get over it. In my honest opinion, she is still jealous of you and paying you the highest regards by continuing to have you on her mind! I mean, what's with that anyway?? Isn't she happily married to the loser (oops for her). Don't you dare hide away my dear...I travel a lot these days but not up your way. However, you don't want to find me on your door step cuz I will do some serious booty kicking!!! Then afterward, we could all go to some place....my very talented hubby could play the music and we could kick rear singing those blues.....so come on little biscuit....cut it out about running from the creature or else this gravy will be all over you!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!

Love ya bunches......

:p
