Bm coming into house, while i was sleeping..

The other morning, BM walked into my house while i was sleeping. SS had spent the nite at her house, she was bringing him home. I woke up to hear her voice, and thought what the H3)) is she doing in my house? She had left me a note. She could have just told SS and he could have told me when i woke up. This was at 7 am. Told H about it, he had a talk with her. She said, i only stepped in the door. BULLL..she went into kitchen to get a pen and paper to write note, she was about ready to walk out the door, my SS had come up stairs to his room, he yelled for her. She came to the bottom of the stairs to talk to him. She told H, it was really no big DEAL. He said, YES its NOT YOUR HOUSE, next time KNOCK, and wait for ADULT to let you in. You dont just walk in. She got pissy after that. OH WELL...its mine house, she can just be pissy...

While I don't think BM "meant any harm", I think what she did was in very poor taste. I bet if you walked into her house uninvited she would be singing a different tune. She was probably just being nosey-wanting to see what you all have and what the house looks like. I would be upset as well if BM walked into my house PERIOD.

It's certainly in poor taste if *anyone* did it....for certain persons to behave that way just makes it worse. I mean.....if my best friend just waltzed in my house without knocking (at 7 am - unannounced), I would be "put out"....if my ex did it, I would be pissed off.
Nice to see your DH backing you up and confronting her about it. It feels good to be supported. :-)

Thats why I am glad that we live in a gated community, there is no way bm cold get in ( the guards have to have authorization from an adult in the home, they will not let a car in on the word of a child. If I ever caught the bm in our situation, she would be facing b&e charges,

Yikes - that would be enough to give me the jitters. In the back of my mind, somewhere, there lurks a fearful being that says, "Yeah, but what if she really DOES need medication and they don't find out until after she sneaks into your home and shoots you."
Glad to hear H backed you! What nerve she has!
LOL - The next time you drop of SS at her house waltz on in and go straight to the restroom or something!! LOL - JUST KIDDING!!!

Personally, I would have my DH let her know it was trespassing and actually illegal home entry and she will go to jail next time. My skids smom made the comment to the judge many moons ago (in the beginning) that if her kids lived there she is allowed in. He instituted curb pick up and drop off and informed her that even if her children told her she could, minors cannot give access to property because they cannot OWN property.
That is all water under the bridge but I would guess it is much the same in all states.

I love you all and I don't even know you yet....
I came home from work one day to find the BM swimming with her kids in my pool. The girls showed her where we kept the spare key and she had let herself in to make them lunch. Can you believe the nerve????
It's kind of funny, but if my ex's wife wanted to come swimming with the kids, I would leave the door open for her. I guess the difference is that she is a great person (and mom to my kids). That and the fact that she would never just come over without calling....

How did you physically restrain yourself from strangling BM when she was in your pool?? Hutzpa!!! Unbelievable... I guess you had to maintain your composure because the kids were there, but she and I would have been toe to toe!!

I understand where you're coming from. BM stopped over "for a visit" when my MIL was here watching my kids and DH and I weren't home. This is the ONLY reason that I'm glad we have a hyper little dog who freaks out on anyone who enters whom he doesn't know. I doubt she got much of a look around with a little ankle-biter jumping up & down and barking like crazy in front of her. :) It was hard not to laugh when the boys told us about it.

The swimming pool incident was fairly minor to the rest of the crap she has put me through. This woman is a nut case!!! I'm not a saint and I definately lost my temper.
