Update on me

I haven't been on in a while, I'm not even sure if people want an update but here goes:
I'm busy studying this summer. I have a blitz session with 2 intense classes. WTF was I thinking!!!! I have 5 weeks left and then I can breathe. People ask me to do something and I tell them that they'll have to wait until August 5th.
The girls are having a great summer at my parents. They keep my dad's SO company and she is there to watch them. It's a win-win. Their cousins have come over several times so they've gotten that extra family time that they haven't been getting. Registration day is July 31st, it's hard to believe that summer is halfway over.
I have learned that being in my hometown would not make a difference in our parenting plan. He has had full access to them and has opted not to get them except every other weekend. He has said that he'd get them for dinner but never called, he stopped saying it after a few weeks. I have started receiving CS again. This week I got 2 different deposits. One for 2 weeks worth and the other for 1 week. WOOHOO!!! When he called to set up pickup for tonight I asked him about it. He told me not to worry about it. He didn't give details so I can only use my imagination to figure out what is going on. I'm guessing it's a 2nd job, but they are taking out too much if it is. But he said it will just go to arrearage. That's fine with me, I was going to call CSE to find out why I was sent so much but if he's fine with it then so am I!!!!
I have a job interview next week. It's actually a school/job interview. The hospital I want to work at has a training position for a CNA. So they will train me and give me a job. But I have to see if it will work with my schedule. I already have my plan set that does work with my schedule so if it doesn't work then I won't be taking it and I'll just continue with my plan. If it does, then I can say goodbye to JTV!!!!!
Anyway, that's my long update. I have to work in the morning so I'm off to bed.

Congrats Dee, keep plugging away at school. You will get there...it took me ten years but I don't regret one second of it.

Its tough, isn't it Dee...?
Its SO worth it to come out on the other side...I promise...
Good luck on everything coming together for you...
Be careful with the job though...seriously...I took employment while I was still in school and it seriously hampered my ability to get THROUGH a program....I was happy working in the field and almost settled for just working....especially if you are making good money...keep pluggin away and get thru the program...its hard when you need to keep working and are taking a full caseload..

Sounds like you are on a roll!
It is weird to me to have people talking about being in the midst of enjoying their summer vacations..
Our school ends next week. We are looking forward to "nothing" time.

Hi Dee! Don't know if you remember me (Brooksmom) but I wanted to say congrats and glad you are doing well! I want to go back to school but I think I'm too old, lol! It's been about 3 yrs since I've been on - I'm still at home w/ my Meagan & Brooks (he's 13!) Hard to believe....take care!
