golf clubs, pick up trucks, the weapon of choice may change, but we have to stop the violence against athletes. it is out of control.

Nowhere in that, or any, article I've read says that he may have been forced out of the truck...where do you get that at?

Now she knows it is probably illegal to operate a pickup truck with someone in the back. Obviously she was using her cell phone, they have the 911 calls. She needs to go down :):):)

before I get flamed, hey it got out of hand, and someone died, which is a tragedy, but I am not seeing a huge crime happening here.

If we are going to call it murder, I guess they have to take into consideration his past.. right?

Actually, I think HE was pursuing her as she left in the truck, jumped in the back, and fell out.
I don't think she will be charged with anything, and she very well might have had a good reason to be running, he has a violent past.

I had the disclaimer, it just sounds like an accident that started as a domestic dispute. I don;t think it is murder at all. But I do think it is going to get played by people who want to make some kind of domestic violence point. To me, this just isn't the one.

">>>>>>>>>> He was found a 1/2 mile from their residence ."
So, if she took off at 60 MPH, and he jumped in the back at the start, we are talking THIRTY SECONDS in the bed of the truck before he fell out to place him 1/2 mile from the house.
"His " violent past " appears to be one charge for aggravated assault with a firearm , he pointed a gun at somebody . He was accused of rape , the charges were dropped and the accuser was charged with perjury ."
Might want to reconsider:
"Since his college days at West Virginia University, Henry has had a checkered off-field reputation. During his sophomore season, he was ejected from a game at Rutgers University due to multiple unsportsmanlike conduct penalties and was suspended for the season finale against the University of Pittsburgh. His former Mountaineers coach, Rich Rodriguez, stated that he was "an embarrassment to himself and the program" for his conduct.[16]
On December 15, 2005, Henry was pulled over in northern Kentucky for speeding. During a search, marijuana was found in his shoes. He was also driving without a valid driver's license or valid insurance.[17] He pleaded guilty and avoided a jail sentence.
One month later, on January 30, 2006 he was arrested in Orlando, Florida for multiple gun charges including concealment and aggravated assault with a firearm.[18] He was reported to have been wearing his #15 Bengals jersey at the time of his arrest. He pleaded guilty to this charge and avoided jail time.
On April 29, Henry allowed three underage females to consume alcohol at a hotel in Covington, Kentucky.[19] One of the three, an 18-year-old woman, accused Henry of sexually assaulting her; she later retracted her story and was charged with filing a false police report.[20] On January 25, 2007, Henry pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor violation of a city ordinance commonly referred to as a "keg law." He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, with all but two of those days being suspended.[19]
He was pulled over on Interstate 275 in Ohio on June 3 at 1:18 A.M. by Ohio Highway Patrol trooper Michael Shimko for surmised drunk driving. He voluntarily submitted to a breathalyzer test at 2:06 A.M. at the Milford Police Department and registered a .092 blood-alcohol level, .012 above the level permitted in the state of Ohio.[21]
On October 6, he was suspended by the NFL for two games for violating the league's personal conduct and substance abuse policies. NFL policies forbid Henry from taking part in practices, however, he was allowed to attend any team meetings. Henry missed the Bengals' October 15, 2006 game at Tampa Bay and their October 22, 2006 home game versus Carolina.[22]
The following April, Henry was suspended for the first eight games of the 2007 NFL season for violations of the NFL's personal conduct policy.[11][16] His suspension on the 10th came with a stern warning that future misconduct may result in the end of his career with the NFL. Henry was given permission by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to begin practicing fully.[23] His suspension was lifted and he played in the November 11, 2007 game versus the Baltimore Ravens, amassing 4 catches for 99 yards.
Henry allegedly assaulted a valet attendant at Newport on the Levee in Newport, Kentucky on November 6, 2007.[24] He was arrested for a second time in Orlando on December 3 for violating his probation he was on from a January 30, 2006 arrest. On February 21, 2008, he was found not guilty.
On March 31, 2008, Henry was alleged to have punched a man named Gregory Meyer, 18, and thrown a beer bottle through the window of his car. Henry claimed it was a case of mistaken identity and also that he thought it was somebody else that owed him money.[25] Henry was waived by the Bengals a day after this arrest and was then forced to serve a house arrest sentence."

They live in a resedential are , the speed limit is not 60 .
Ok, i believe some domestic incident is the root of all this, both were probably in the wrong. All he had to do was let her go. But I really cannot sit here and blame anyone, to me it looks like a tragedy and maybe a crime, maybe.
But the since the speed limit is not 60, that must mean no one can go 60. I mean come on, even that one was a stretch. i am not saying she was going 60, but to say she could not because the speed limit was not 60.... really.... come on.

Riiight, and if you are in a FIGHT with someone, TRY to leave the property, and they JUMP in the back of your truck, and you take off, the cops are going to give you a SPEEDING ticket, right?
Soooo, you would let a violent spouse climb inside the truck BECAUSE you are afraid of violating the SPEED limit?

I bet she was pissed off, she was leaving, and it did not seem like it was on a good note. Of course I would also throw some fear in there. An NFL player on the back of the truck, I am guessing some fear, just guessing though.

Ex-fiance and ex-wife's boyfriend...got into a fight during a parenting time exchange. Ex-wife's boyfriend nailed ex-fiance in his bad knee and he went down. I got into my car, did a quick spin around and got ex-fiance in the car and took him to the hospital.
Police come to the hospital and they want to arrest me for attempted vehicular assault 'cuz ex-wife's boyfriend said I tried to run him over. I looked at the cop and said, "If that had been my intent, there would have been no 'try'...I would have drove up on the sidewalk where he was standing and done it." So I drew them a map of exactly what I had done and forensics bore it out...no charges filed.
