Creative Revenge II

STbx'S undergraduate alma mater sent a letter to my house with a return envelope asking to fill in what he was currently doing so they could publish it in their alumni review. Rather than forward it to him I could not resist temptation. I couldn't decide if he was selling used cars, working at a recycling center, collecting bridge tolls, working at the zoo cleaning out the elephant stalls or part of a male dance review. I decided on the used car salesman in Bakersfield and filled it out and sent it back. (STBX is actually an attorney)

Re: Creative Revenge II

That would have been too suspicious. They would remember what he looked like (short with glasses.) He never would have made any money at that. Used car salesmen and attorneys have similar personalities.

I'd have simply marked "Return to Sender"...

Then under that put "Deceased"

You could write he is unemployed officially, just released from prison after 6 months. Got caught exposing himself while peeking through an 80 year old womans window.

I would've put down "Web Master" and then provided links to a couple of porno sites...

That was counter productive and not too wise. Nonetheles, if you were going to fabricate a story, I would placed him as a founding memeber of the Branch Davidians with burn marks and in hiding. Or perhaps waiting for the next comet as a member of Heaven's Gate.

Re: Creative Revenge II

OH Maury you must have had an amicable divorce. What's with the badge? Do you serve divorce papers? Is Kenosha in Alaska above the Artic Cirle? And isn't this a womens' thread? You are not getting in touch with your feminine side. The feminine side says it IS productive.
STbx is a divorce attorney and a real bottom feeder.

---> Maury is correct, it's called "libel" and your ex will have every legal right to sue you...and win.

---> And no, Kenosha isn't in Alaska, it's in the southeast corner of Wisconsin on Lake Michigan, south of Milwaukee.

Re: Creative Revenge II

Hmm, how shall we answer this.

1. Not divorced.
2. Badge is my brother's.
3. I do serve divorce papers, but as one of your beloved bottom feeders
4. If you turn a map of the united states sideways, Kenosha is located in the armpit.
5. And yes...I decided to engage in estrogenic commentary today in order to get in touch with my feminine side. Incidentally, now I think I am retaining water, since my ankles are swollen and I am a bit cranky.

Oh really. I am sooo scared. I can imagine him saying "But your Honor she wrote that I was a Used Car Salesman in Bakersfield in the Alumni Review". Please. Lighten up.
Oh Kenosha is not in Alaska but in the southeast corner of Wisconsin on Lake Michigan. Sounds like the Artic Circle to me. Prob. about 2 degrees warmer in the winter.
He going to try to sue me about the fishing boat though.
I spray painted it hot pink and rechristened it Barbie's Alimony.

Some may consider that a step up from divorce lawyer.

Oh you're a bottom feeder.( My favortie movie scene is now Jurasic Park when the T-Rex gulps the attorney. As I remembered the audience cheered. ) Why in hell's bells are you reading these posts when you should be working on your clients cases? Actually my stbx used to close the door to his office so he could watch "Leave it to Beaver" reruns during the day.

I felt that you needed proper supervision.

Whenever I hear of Kenosha, I have to sing...

"Kenosha...a city for all seasons...Kenosha!"

Anyone else know that commercial? It used to play on WGN radio.

No way of knowing that. We all have closets of hidden misery. Bush didn't know that the guy in the shades was blind. You can fault Bush for other things but not that.

Re: Creative Revenge II

Ok Folks you are way off topic and this thread is starting to sound like old Trival Pursuit geography questions of the Great Lakes.
OK --back to Creative Revenge. I did not do this --but I heard of this through my niece who is planning her wedding. She cancelled her reservation at her 1st choice of reception. Except the place she cancelled said she had to come down in person and cancel the reception reservation. She asked Why did she have to do that??
Well--
It seems that the ex wife of a groom in months past had cancelled the wedding reception of his bride--a client. Not only that but she was quite thorough. She posed as the bride over the phone and cancelled the photograher, the florist, the bakery that was making their cake--basically the ex wife cancelled the whole wedding plans of the new wife. What a hoot. Now that is true creative revenge. Now I don't want to hear the blah blah legal ramicafications of doing this but I am sure it was worth it.

Re: Creative Revenge II

Very hard to do these days. Because of the liability, most everyone requires cancellations to be in person/writing, or to provide I.D.

Re: Creative Revenge II

LOL. What a great opportunity to come upon!! I think for somebody to go after you for libel, they would have to prove you did it. Who's to say that somebody didn't pilfer the letter out of your mailbox? Besides, if he were to complain in court, he would basically be saying that it is libelous because used car saleamen are scum and you set him up to look like scum. There must be some Used Car Salesmen Discrimination organization out there to inform and let loose. There are discrimination orgs for just about everything now.
