YOu must not know the facts in this case because police were not immediately sent.

You are not mistaken. It was something along the lines of "we have more important things going on" hence the anger from the public with the whole lack of urgency on both parties conversation.

That's what I thought! And it took a while into the conversation for the social worker to say she was concerned he was going to do something to the kids. Which I'm sure she will live with the rest of her life, not that I think it would have mattered frankly. It was all over the second he pulled them into the door. and I'm sure he knew that. It's all very sad. Hopefully they are at peace with their mother.

"Its also horrible that they took his kids away from him based on ZERO evidence that he had done ANYTHING wrong, and even after he had followed ALL of their rules, they STILL refused to give the kids back, adding rules as they went."
You are incorrect - there had to be a reason and there is protocol to keep the children and the children had to be taken until everything was cleared and aok for them to go back - he WAS getting his children back but he chose to murder them instead. As some things come out (there will be many things that NEVER become public info) it became clear that HE needed to be looked at more closely in regards to his children being returned to him.
Why do you keep at the "they took his children from him from NO reason" that is simply NOT true!!! He was living in a home with a pedofile and the children were taken while an investigation was going on and then they were working on reunification when other issue with Josh himself HAD to have come to light.
Why keep defending this man?
Josh's siblings are trying to claim the 2.5 million life insurances - Josh changed the policy beneficiaries for the last time on December 3, which excluded his wife parents - I find this rather interesting. The article I read said they only waited 9 or 11 days - I am curious if they will be able to collect on Josh's wife given there is no proof of death at this time. I also think Susan's should go to her parents if/when she is found dead. I also do not think they should collect Josh's - usually life insurance excludes suicide.

It's a strange to listen to the tape. I think that the caseworker did express that she was worried about the kids, but her voice didn't have much urgency. Even after the house was on fire and she called back- she almost seemed confused or disconnected.
I was REALLY annoyed with the 911 operator who was more worried about WHO she was, what Josh P. looked like and then went on to tell her, "Life threatening emergencies come first". So 6 minutes in she did say- I believe this could be a life threatening situation.
What I am TOTALLY flabbergasted about is she asked the 911 Operator, "What should I do??" Shouldn't these court ordered visitation supervisors be PREPARED for situation like this? On who to call? What to do? Did she not have an immediate supervisor?

Life insurance typically excludes suicide IF it occurs within the first 2 years of the policy. At least that's how the policies I have (through different carriers) are written. If it's 2 years + 1 day? Policy pays out.

"You are incorrect - there had to be a reason"
Yeah, cause CPS would NEVER nake a mistake, right? BAER.
"there is protocol to keep the children and the children had to be taken until everything was cleared and aok for them to go back"
Well, lets address the FACT that they never should have been taken a little later. There WAS a "protocol". For four months, he had to do specific things. He DID those specific things, and after four months, they added MORE things.
"As some things come out (there will be many things that NEVER become public info) it became clear that HE needed to be looked at more closely in regards to his children being returned to him."
What became clear? The incest p0rn they found on his PC two years ago? Guess what, unless there was proof he SHOWED it to the kids, it means diddly. It is NOT illegal to have p0rn, nor INCEST p0rn.
"Why do you keep at the "they took his children from him from NO reason" that is simply NOT true!!! He was living in a home with a pedofile and the children were taken while an investigation was going on"
False, he was STAYING with a parent that was, UNKNOWINGLY to Josh, into kiddie p0rn. Once it was determined that this was occurring, they arrested his Dad. He cut Dad off, refused bail and got another place to live and see the kids.
"the children were taken while an investigation was going on and then they were working on reunification when other issue with Josh himself HAD to have come to light."
What OTHER issue? You folks are basing the IDEA that there MUST be other issues, because they took the kids, but kids get taken unfairly all the time. It is that mindset that, "Well they TOOK the kids, so there MUST be a reason, so he is guilty" CPS their power.
"Why keep defending this man?"
Because under our justice system, prior to the suicide, he is INNOCENT.
"Josh's siblings are trying to claim the 2.5 million life insurances - Josh changed the policy beneficiaries for the last time on December 3, which excluded his wife parents - I find this rather interesting."
Why would that be interesting? He removed the people who took his kids and were sh!tting on him TO the kids from getting his life insurance. Sounds like a good deal to ME.
