Also... in my state visitation and CS are separate issues. Does it specifically include the parenting time in your H's CS order? Just wondering...

"I know nothing about your state, but I didn't want you to think all states are based on a parenting time share model."
The cs worksheet I found for her state does have a section for credit for overnights. Whether or not it was granted, we don't know until she can find how cs was originally claculated (stranger things have been known to happen in cs calculations), but her state IS based on the parenting time share model.
I do agree with you, though. She is looking for options, and while she may have been mistaken, it's nothing to be ashamed of.

Think of it as an extended summer camp. Kids LOVE summer camp and don't miss mom so much so that they don't want to go. He'll have fun with dad and be glad to see mom again when the 6 weeks are done, life goes on.

>>>>>Could he get her to help in those expenses- yes. But would it be worth it because then she could get your H to pay HIS share in the daycare costs she incurs THROUGHOUT the year, if there is any.<<<<<
Or, rather than her trying to go after his share of daycare, she simply seeks to modify the order to remove his 6 weeks entirely, basing it on the fact that he hasn't been taking them all along. Dad loses, son loses. Definately not worth the fight.

I agree with you 100%. I really hadn't thought about her as much as I should have, like there were times when on my husband's visitation nights he couldn't get michael because he works so far away and bad weather prevented him from coming home, she would just keep her son and not complain, I realized last night she could have easily said "it's your night you find a place for him to go" but she didn't and I shouldn't be like that either. Also my husband had NO IDEA that the credit had been given him for summer visittaion, and was surprised when I told him. Evidently their lawyers at the time did not tell them, and as I look at how things are done, they were both not told things they needed to be told and left too much to their imagination and their ability to communicate well, which unfortunately is not very good. I again appreciate you all for teaching me and my husband things that we had NO Idea.

Did you find out for sure, then? While there is a great likelihood that he was given the credit based on your state's guidelines and procedures, it's never a guarantee unless you see it written into the calculation on the worksheet. Did you ever track that thing down? I didn't see a post, but I could have missed it.

they are supposed to be mailing us the original worksheet, if there is one, so hopefully i will recieve it soon, however if they used the missouri form 14, it's on there, so i don't know how he wouldn't have received the credit, but hopefully we'll find out soon.
