We currently own our home we had not been getting along for a long time my wife is seeing another person and my child at 5 had told me, "Dad mom was kissing Scott and kissing and kissing while they were laying on the couch and it gave me a head ache", "I don't like it dad". I asked her what she was talking about and she filled me in with more details and numerous accounts of the same thing. She was sucking her thumb while telling me so I know she was bothered and I know when she makes up stories. I have to tell you I was devastated to hear it and to know my child has witnessed this. I feel sick to my stomach! We live in the same house and this is just a nightmare. Its killing me. I confronted my wife and told her she should not do this when around our daughter. It was clear she is bothered. We are on the way to divorce and will be filing in a couple of days (I will be). She is out with her date now as I speak. i am crawling out of my skin. We do not have enough money to live seperately and pay the mortgage. What a living nightmare.

What a terrible situation, how dare her do that in front of your child; how selfish!
If I were you I would go and file for divorce immediately - Through the course of that the marital home could be sold and maybe you could both live on your own that way if there is any equity? Regardless, I would document everything that your daughter has told you, it may help you in the custody proceedings. She is certainly not thinking of the "Best Interest of your child".
Divorce is awful! The worse thing that I have ever been through! However, somehow we get through it, although at the time you don't think you will.
