I have been separated for two months now, and the time has come for me to pick up the remainder of my stuff from the apartment.
Not much, just a dresser, some boxes, photos, blah blah blah.
I feel so sad, empty today in a way.
My stbx and I still talk on the phone a few times a week. We even laugh and kid together like when we were still together.
I know we are doing the right thing. I have to move on, and hopefully getting the remainder of my crap will help me do so.
So why a happy day? I think the closure of getting all my stuff will be good. Seeing her today will not be good though...

My stuff that is still there is mostly crap :-)
I already took my tv and PS3, and DVD/Blue Rays :P
Well, the pictures not not crap either I suppose...

Well... all done now.
I must say that I am happy it is all over and done with.
Very weird - this was the first time I have seen her in about a month. I wanted her there to make sure I did not take anything she wanted.
Anyway... She had to leave because she felt awkward. Hrm.... She is the one who wanted the divorce.
Glad this is done with and that I can move on.
Now that I have all my crap, er, stuff I can get the settlement agreement done with.

My EX felt awkward around me too. He is the one who wanted the divorce. Guilt perhaps????
It is closure of a sort. I found in our divorce there were a few different types of closure. Each one a step in onward and upward.

I don't understand why you guys feel so down...When ever I feel bad I get angry immediately...the down feeling never even registers....
