I take my state licensing exam tomorrow morning @ 9 AM for my RN license. I've been nervous and anxious today. Please pray for a passing grade. I won't know the results for 24 to 48 hours afterwards. I'll be sitting on pins and needles waiting. I just told a friend it will either be Margarita time for me, or time for a rubber room and a straight jacket. LOL! Actually, there probably is some truth to that about the rubber room... ;-)

Fingers, toes and all other available and flexible body parts crossed and wishing you luck!
I'm confident you'll do just fine.
Margaritas in the rubber room sounds delightfully kinky!!! ;o)

I know you will feel all the well wishes, hugs and prayers coming your way at 9 am.
Good luck... not that you need it though!

Dear LadyBug,
I know you will do well. The nursing (and medical) profession needs a lot more caring and thoughtful persons in the field. I'm glad you will be there for the patients! Take care, bacall

Hi Lori,
Good luck! I'm sure you'll pass with flying colors. Meanwhile, why wait for the test results to have that margarita. Have one tonight :).

Most men do this kind of thing when they are in their 20's...Then they can afford to pay alimony.
Now that you've exhausted your marriage income deals, you actually have to get out and build a career, huh ?

LOL, Mike! You literally made me do that! I wasn't meaning those things to be done together, silly!
I can say it's done, it's over and I am now playing the waiting game... I can't even relate how I feel about the test. There are no real words to describe it, except maybe to say it was a very ambiguous and extremely difficult test. I signed an agreement to not disclose anything about the test, so all I can say is it's over and I'm praying I passed! Nothing will be posted for 24-48 hours. As soon as I know, you all will know!
Thanks you everyone (except "Yregna") for all of your well wishes and kind words. It really meant a lot to me and I appreciated them greatly!
Hugs to all, Lori
P.S. As for "Yregna"... You are just clueless! Not that any of this is your business, but my family and I helped put my husband through college the first 9 years we were married. His family did nothing to help and he graduated without any student loans. I worked, I was the housekeeper, cook and I raised the children. What did he do in return? He cheated, lied and ran off to marry the OW. Next time think before you speak! Get the facts! Otherwise you just end up showing your total ignorance!

After waiting on pins and needles all last night, trying to sleep and just unwind, I got up and called first thing this morning to see if I could possibly get my results. I am happy to report that I am officially licensed as an RN now! Woo hoo! It was not a test that you walk away and had any feel for how you did. I am so relieved! It's been 5 years in the making and I am just so very thankful too. If I could do cartwheels, I would! LOL!
Thanks everybody for your support! I would not have made it the last 6 years without my friends here on the board. You have all helped me to keep my sanity. (Ok, most of my sanity...some is gone forever. LOL!)
Hugs, Lori

Thanks Mike!
I don't know about the pain in your back... But, maybe that Margarita and the rubber room would fix it? LOL!
