It is made of metal, they are painted and a yard decoration. They were in the lawn and garden section at wally world.

Ha I bought those same ones for $15 too last week...they are roosters though and they fab in my back yard.

I had to dig through them to find ones that the tail feathers weren't bent. I love how they look on the tree stumps.
