I never get all gaga googoo over musical artists, just never have. I have a few close friends who've been out in LA for years. One of my good friends has several friends out there in the music industry.
My BFF who lives out there in Santa Monica used to work for VH1, met a lot of people. She's a SAHM and writer and yoga teacher now :)

Okay, this is driving me nuts... I THINK the guy's last name was "Lane", but I don't remember any other identifying information (other than some 80s rock group... THAT oughta limit it??)? And the only reason I remember Lane is because I THOUGHT the guy had said "Lame" when he introduced himself, and yeah... my conversation with him took off from there...
