We use Walmart pharmacy, so we get the tag AND a printed receipt showing how much was actually paid. It also shows our discount. -----------------------------------
All pharmacies do that, the tag AND the receipt. I can see that a parent may not want the other to see what else you have paid for. I suggest paying separately. A receipt should always be used if you are trying to get reimbursed from another parent. As the W of a NCP, when he was one, I cannot tell you how many times BM tried to fake us out with receipts where she didn't pay and insurance also hadn't. Ridiculous what some are willing to do.

MrsB has over and over again just submitted the "tag." Looks like she has more trouble than she thought.

That - or use a black marker or something to mark out what you don't want them to see I suppose.
I always usually pay for it separately though - so it's never really an issue.

True. I think if you can trust the person then it wouldn't be a big deal, it's too bad some people ruin it for everyone. Hopefully this info helps the OP.

Yep, our BM did that all the time too. That's why we make sure we ask for the receipt...as that will show the "payment" (form of payment and amount).
I have a question about medical too...I'll make a new thread for mine.

I always send both. Glad now, LOL. Not that it really matters ;).
However if it was actually paid for, and someone only submitted the tag - not hard to get a receipt from the pharmacy to prove payment either.

I get a tag attached to my prescription bag containing my medicine and then I also get a cash register receipt. I have to submit my tag and cash register receipt to my husband's reimburement company before they will reimbursement us. The receipt is ALWAYS stapled to the prescription tag.
