[censored]://[censored].foxnews.com/politics/2012/07/04/obama-in-july-fourth-ceremony-calls-for-comprehensive-immigration-reform/
"President Obama on Wednesday used a Fourth of July naturalization ceremony to again call for comprehensive immigration reform.
He also reminded those attending the White House ceremony of his recent decision to suspend deportation rules for illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children."
~~~Yeah, great call, stand in frnt of people who busted their ASSES to follow the rules, and to use the correct path to citizenship and tell them how you are trying to make it easier for those who SNEAK ACROSS THE BORDER to be in the SAME position that these hard working new citizens are at right now.
Honestly, I REALLY believe he just DOESN'T get it. When yu have NEVER had to WORK for anything or be held ACCOUNTABLE for anything, I guess you just can't understand the feeling that those who HAVE had to work for stuff have about others being GIVEN things.
Are you insinuating that Obama never had to work for anything or be accountable for anything but instead had things given to him?
No, but they are held to the CITIZENSHIP of their parents.
">>>>>>>>>> Your daily dose of Obama hating ."
Nope, just calling them like I see them.
Nope, not insinuating that, flat out SAYING it.
He was a child of privilege who was raised in an insulated environment and has NEVER been held accountable for the choices he made or the thing he has done.
LOL, are you aware of WHERE and HOW he was raised? He was raised by his grandparents in HAWAII, where he attended private schools to begin with.
Of course, I am PROBABLY wasting my time, but can you provide FACTS to back up your statement that I am wrong?
Why do you so frequently shift the burden of proof? He who asserts, must prove.
I would like you to provide facts to back up your assertion that he never had to work for anything or be accountable for anything.
I teach argument, and you commit so many logical fallacies I’m not sure where to start. Two come to mind: card stacking and non sequitur. This from my handout:
CARD STACKING A sneaky tactic that ignores any evidence (or pretends it doesn’t exist) that might contradict or weaken your argument, showing only that which supports the argument. If your view requires card stacking for persuasive power, it probably is too weak to begin with and, for integrity’s sake, should be changed. You are ignoring the “never had to work” and “never been held accountable” parts of your claim.
NON SEQUITUR Meaning “it does not follow,” this type of statement attempts a conclusion without making clear what the connection between the premise (cause) and conclusion (effect) is. While the connection might very well be legitimate and sound, nobody else can see it because it has not been clarified. This is also called leading to an irrelevant conclusion. You say he went to private schools (cause) but that does not result (effect) in not having to work or be accountable.
