Well, today is the day, the judge will rule on the bail. Lets get interesting, how about a "pool" of sorts? Will he get bail, how much, etc?
My feeling is that he will get bail, based on the fact that the judge DID wait so long to rule. It appears that the judge is considering the facts of the bail hearing. I would think if the judge was going to deny bail altogether, he would have done it on the spot. And yes, his wife lied in the first bail hearing, and Zimmerman did not correct her (I always wondered, a court cannot force you to testify AGAINST your spouse, it would seem that same right would extend to correcting a perjured statement as well, right? Eh, different time for that discussion), but he has also cooperated in every other aspect of this case, and done so even when it was against the advice of his counsel and not required by law.
Anyway, I think he WILL get bail, at a slightly higher amount, my guess is $250,000, meaning he will have to come up with another $10K for the bail bondsman.
What does everyone else think?

One Million dollars!
No really...it's 1 million bucks. Wow, that is obscene.

Oops, too late, the judge set it at 1 Million. So he has to put up $100,000 (which we know he has), so I guess he gets out now, good for him.
Interesting side note, the judge ALSO ordered him to stay in Seminole county (unlike last time where he was allowed to leave, but had to wear an ankle monitor. He STILL has to wear the ankle monitor, at his own cost). I wonder if the authorities will be forced to provide a higher level of security for him, since they have limited his ability to hide?

I called this a while ago, they want to drain his resources so he will not have the money to defend himself.

"they want to drain his resources so he will not have the money to defend himself. "
Who is "they"?
People can still contribute to his fund, yes? Wonder what the total is now.

It is not a big conspiracy to drain finances. It is to set an amount to compel his appearance along with conditions to do the same.

"They" are the overreaching prosecutors office, who KNOWS they screwed up by charging him with second degree murder.
He has, per O'Mara, $211,000 in the account. Of course, everytime the news goes out about him, the amount goes up dramatically.
Personally, I have already contributed, but I may send some more. People do not realize the precedent this case will set, and who knows, I may need to defend myself from an attacker some day, and it will be nice to know I am ALLOWED to stop someone from killing me.
ETA: I know, I know, there is no PROOF that Martin was going to kill him except for Zimmerman's word. But if I AM attacked, it might not be in front of a bank of video cameras and a bleacher full of eyewitnesses.

Sure it is, because the original amount wasn't enough to DO that, right? I mean he was out on bail before, and when requested to surrender, they had to do WHAT to get him to come back? Oh yeah, nothing, he has voluntarily turned himself in EVERY time he has been asked.
This is a VENDETTA.

I think the precedent is that you can stalk someone and, if you do it properly, may get away with murder in the State of Florida.

Come on Maury, you know better than that, "stalking" specifically (according to Florida Law) requires REPEATED actions of following someone. I really thought you were above the rhetoric.
