Need to know if the attorney ...

for the other party is allowed to object to "Requests for admissions with Special Interrogitories" ???

"S" is representing himself and he served these request for admissions on his EX's attorney and the attorney called "S" and stated we object to all of them....along with a bunch of other nasty remarks ..The attorney has not sent "S" any paperwork or motions and these requeasts are due tomorrow.

According to what "S" has researched ..her attorney has to object in writting before the date they are due and if not then the admissions are entered as true....

Does anyone know the answer ??

Hey 02 - BM's attornies did the same thing and objected to a lot of our admissions and interrogatories.

They threatened to go to the judge - we said go for it, b/c we knew we were in the right. What do ya know...they never ended up taking it to the judge, and were just blowing smoke.

Maybe our situation was a bit different....with ours, DH didn't answer a lot of the interrogatories and submit a lot of the production b/c it wasn't relevent to the case. And since BM's attornies didn't file the motion, no, we didn't submit them. We only asked questions that were pertenent to the case, and yes, she did answer them.
