I am a single mom who is drowning in legal fees due to a horrible custody battle for my daughter. I anyone has any advice, knows how I can apply for grants or low interest loans, or even has any advice to keep my emotional sanity please respond.
Also, if you or anyone you know may want to donate to my cause please go to my website. Thank you.

"how I can apply for grants or low interest loans."
I know of no such support for legal fees. Do you qualify for and have you tried a legal aid organization?

If you had a career that paid the bills instead of depending upon a man for money, you wouldn't be in this situation. Too bad for you...I hope you drown. At the bottom of the lake of despair you will find all the other gold diggers....Nicole Simpson is their queen.

i there, first of all I must say you are brave to fight for your daughter, and I hope God helps you in it. I have seen many mothers doing it in the last few years ( my brother is a lawyer, so he usually tells me about his cases), and there is a question on the following link, which might interest you:http://www.iwishisaidno.com/forum/2074-does-my-daughter-has-right-choose-custody.html and all the best in the "battle".

First, research private counselling and family preservation units in your area. You'll be looking at United Way organizations. Second, meet with case managers either in person or over the phone from these agencies. Ask if they provide grants or stipends; some do. Third, contact legal aid and see if they have low(er) cost legal for contested custody. Fourth, contact the local women's shelter and see if they have a list of low(er) cost attorneys. Finally, send out letters to all of the above. Good luck.

I would see if your city has Legal Aid. If you do not have a legal aid office that provides free or discounted legal services to low income people in domestic situations then I would check with local law schools. Sometimes students will take on cases for experience.
