I have inheirted money and possessions from my parents who have recently died. Can my husband get his hands on any of it if we would get a divorce? What about property we bought during the marriage? If it helps to know, we live in Texas, married 23 years with 2 kids ages 18 & 22. How does spousal support work? I don't need the money because I make more money than he does plus because of my inheiritance.

Inherited property is usually treated as separate property, meaning, it's yours and cannot be considered community/marital property.
