In family court, how serious is a contempt charge. My ex disenrolled our son from his daycare that he has been at for a year. She also enrolled him in a school that was not agreed to.
The contempt comes in in that we share legal and physical custody and are ordered to discuss all such issues...
I know if it were me as a Dad and I pulled this, I would probably risk damaging my custody...not tyring to sound biased but it is a fact of the family court system.
What could really even happen to her if anything?

Couldn't you go and disenroll and re-enroll the child yourself in the original school and daycare...citing that there was no agreement between the two of you to relocate the child for educational and care purposes.

I think you need to remember what is best for the child, even if your ex wife can't. I would have my attorney write a letter to her attorney stating the facts and your concerns and give her 1 to 2 weeks to reenroll the child back where they are suppose to be. This obviously is a move involving deception and you could be able to use the interference of parental rights, and possibly fight for custody?
