Maybe you don't understand... [Re: all2u]

But when you post in an open forum, you ARE here for debate. Whether you want to debate is not the issue. You have posted in an open public forum where people post opinions, and debate the opinions. Happens in every open public forum.

There's nothing to working options. It's a matter of making sure that you don't use generalizations or express your opinions if you do NOT want such debated. If you however do use them, you're most certain to get a debate. If you give just details to a case and ask for suggestions, that's likely all you can get because you've given nothing for debate. I'd only suggest you hit the Edit button at the top of your post and remove half of the ........... line so that the post doesn't scroll. You've left no breaks. As for paragraphs, it does make it easier for some to read. That is only dependant upon if you want people to read it. Some will simply skip posts they find long, tedious, stretched, or poorly punctuated. Therefore you run the risk of missing replies from those who may know of other options that have not been posted.

I think she's asking how to post so people don't get offended by her posts. ;)

Have you got any feedback from your calls and e-mails?

What exactly is he in jail for? I am not clear on that point. Was it for the car accident or were there warrants out for him?

why should WE leave because YOU don't like what is said? You'd get more help if A) you wrote READABLE text, and B) you didn't insult women by stereotyping, and C) you didn't insult people in general.

If you don't like the responses you get, perhaps YOU need to find another forum.

No, Not as of this afternoon. He was arrested on a warrant for unpaid child support for the year of 2,000.00.
She claims he has not paid, this amount includes all that he was ordered to pay, not just cash for the children. He pays 14,000.00 in support alone, plus all the debt, extra curricular for the children, and medical/dental/life/auto Insurance for them all.

Who ever heard of a factory worker paying that much? that's half his income in support, not to mention the rest. Then she is gonna grip about 2,000.00? The Judge locked him up for that! The point is, he lost his job due to being in jail, can't hire an attorney, because she has drained him.

So as it stands, he has no out, there is no bond, no contempt, No amount to pay to be released. They say he HAS to hire an attorney or sit until they all rot!

Now if I am thinking clearly, if this was a fair situation. No Judge would lock you up and hold you for a lousy 2000.00, when your paying 14,000 a year plus, cause you to lose your Job, and go bankrupt.

I've only heard of similar happening once, where a woman didn't pay support and was locked up...and forgotten about. She spent 2 years in jail with no charges, no bond. I don't recall how she managed to get out, but there are laws to prevent it. One just has to find those laws, bring attention to the case and provide the backup (the laws) to show the injustice). Without doing the homework first though, no one would touch it.

Well Folks,
Mr. Jernigan is still in jail, has no court date. He did manage to get an attorney, and once again the attorney came back with " well, she says no way your getting out" talking about the ex wife. Hope they change their mind, I'll keep talking with her attorney. If not the Judge leaves on Holiday the 29th and we'll have to wait until the 5th of January to get him to hear it.

OK, then today the attorney comes in and says now it will be the 10th "MAYBE" He's not sure and the ex and her attorney will not agree to anything! This will mark 32 days he has been in jail without a hearing.
