i am seperated from my husband of 24 years for 4 years. i am meetin with a divorice attorney on monday to begin divorice proceedings. i have met another man about 2 years ago. we are in love and happy. my husband does not know about this new relationship. if he did find out, would this be considered adultrey? my husband was unfaithful the entire marriage. i never was involved with any one else until i left him. we live in the state of maryland.

From what I was informed by my attorney (NJ) that yes your ex could counter Adultrey on your part. But the truth is that what ever the reason you are divorcing the court doesn't really care. Guess it is a personal opinion about the grounds for divorce.
