I need some help here my friend husband wont sign the divorce papers, as there any legal way to make him sign they have been seprated for one yr now,
any help will do, from texas.

But she can still divorce him with or without his signature. She just lets a judge decide on the divorce issues. And absent any signature agreement from him, it gets ordered, whether he likes it or not.

That sounds heavenly to me. It took 2 years and $10K for us to divorce.

Does your friend have an attorney, or is she filing the papers herself? An attorney should be able to get the ball rolling without the Hs signature, but if she's on her own have her call the county courthouse. Ask what papers she needs to file to get in front of the judge to have a final divorce hearing.
He may think he's controlling her, but he's really being foolish. Just because he sits in a corner and pouts, that doesn't mean she won't be able to divorce him, it just means he won't get a say in the final outcome.

He is a dumbass.
You just need to get a little more proactive. Don't listen to him. Educate yourself with facts and move on with the process.
