well, you didn't want her to tell kids about the divorce.
My suggestion would be for you to tell your family to stop it. After all, she IS the mother of your children.
I would say this is going to be one nasty, nasty divorce.
Both of you need to grow up.

You're assuming that she is doing what he is claiming she is.
Do you really think the original poster is that credible?
Personally, I think he is the only one who needs to grow up. I don't believe anything he says about his stbx.

I know it is all a fairy tale including even about being married, much less divorced.
As nasty as he is, I can't imagine she remained married to him as long as he says. He is just too self-centered.

I'm hoping he is the by-product of the imagination of he who shall not be named. We were all threatened with an invasion of sorts, remember?
If thats not the case, then I sincerely hope he's much more civil in real life and only brings the antagonistic and narrow-minded attitude to this board. Dump the frustration here - this is a support board after all. But at the rate he's going there is a judge somewhere who's going to have a massive migraine hearing this case.

yeah she stayed married to me all these years,,,she claiming i emotionally abused her all these years and made her dependent on me and her brother is claiming shes an abused wife...i never laid a hand on her...how can she be abused?

Yep. He answered his own question....
"She claiming I emotionally abused her". She's not saying he smacked her around, so no police reports are necessary to prove the abuse.
If he doesn't present well in court, such as behaving like his rights trump the law and he should get everything his way because he says so, I'd give odds that the judge will come down on her side with *very* little prompting.

If I was your STBXH, I would be moving FAR, FAR, away from you... I also agree with her not wanting the child around YOU, I mean "your family".... if they all act like you, it would be emotionally abusive for your child to be subjected to it.

you are an adult the court will not want the foul language around your kids.can she prove you abused her in any way?any police reports or witnessess?make her substaniate everything she tells in court.she has to have proof.be polite to the judge and call him your honor.defend your self deny everything she says abuot you or your family.agree not to use foul language in front of the kids.i am trying ti help you.i have been in and out of court for 5 years dealing with custioy and visitation issues .i hope this helps.noraj
