I live in Pennsvannia, and I would like to avoid as many legal fees as possible. I filed with the courts through an attorney in January for a divorce. Since then my wife and I have agreed on a settlement agreement.
Can we write own agreement, and if so what documents are required to file with the court, and how would go about filing, and getting the divorce?
My current lawyer is like all the rest of them. Juts trying to bill you for as many hours as possible. I received my statement the other day and found a $1,000 mistake. Trust it was no mistake. He was trying to keep his $1,000 non refundable fee, by not including it the billable hours.

You might be better off just biting the bullet, handing the attorney the settlement and telling him to file it. Just be careful if you decide to do it yourself, sometimes there are little loopholes that come back to bite you later. Contact the court and ask them for the proper forms if you want to try and do it yourself.

You can always set an agreement between yourselves, but WRITING your own would be the worst mistake you could make. At least have a lawyer write the agreement. You want to be sure the wording is legal and precise, and make sure all contingencies are covered.
