Feeling bad would like advice/help

Hope I did the right thing. My wife(Ex ?) is a Alcoholic/Drug User/Mental Health Pill taker.
last month she had a Butcher Knife and I called Police
and I will not go into everything but She left
I have the house she took a couple travel trailers
I heard/read that if you dont do everything right you can lose everything
So These years of her Drunk/Drugs being mean to me

I guess I gave it ALL back to her.

I wrote ALL the bad things she and my steapson did and gave it to my Lawyer. What I did not expect he said to give it to the DA too! (If I knew the DA would get it I would not have made it. BUT it is 100 percent true)

So now I am sitting here Alone and wondering what will happen next.
Monday I go to court I filed a Protective Order on her
(She does not know)

Then I go agan because she filed Devorce temp order on me.

This is aful

I just wanted a Wife to love me not be Drug using hostile Drunk Woman.

I am upset is there any advice?

I am a 44 year old man in texas.

I am truly saddened to hear of your situation.
In this particular case, I would have to say that you MUST act in the best interest of the child. You want to have a "normal" wife, but she is clearly not making good choices, or is incapable of making those good choices. If you do nothing, you are setting an example to your child(ren) that this behavior is acceptable, when it clearly is not.

Often times, it REQUIRES that a person be placed in a scenario where they truly do have to own up to their behavior and poor choices.

Perhaps your wife will come to the realization that her actions DO have consequences.
