Dont Hassel the Hoff
      #391677 - 04/18/08 07:23 PM

I am sorry, but it's criminal when SS is 5x what CS is:

LOS ANGELES (April 18) - David Hasselhoff has agreed to pay $25,000 a month to support his ex-wife and children. Court documents released Thursday show the former "Baywatch" star's divorce settlement calls for him to pay $21,000 a month to ex-wife Pamela Bach and another $4,000 to support their daughters, 17-year-old Taylor and 15-year-old Hayley.

I read that this morning. I was curious about the duration. I bet she'll be getting paid long after those kids are 18. Insane.

The support should be flip-flopped, with the kids getting 20K. Hoff actually pays less in CS that I did. You KNOW that mother wont be spending the 20K on the kids.

I think they set it up this way for tax reasons

No, that would be unaollocated family support. This is allocated. It's a pure case of greed

He agreed....it did not go to trial. I am sure he had his own reasons for agreeing to it.

Ya, it's often a lot cheaper to just agree than fight it out in court with a greedy do nothing lazy [censored].

That money should go to his kids.

You guys kill me.

It was a long term marriage in CA. 50/50 split on all assets. He makes more than 2 mil a month just on his royalities over seas. He must have some cash because she reports that he spent over 100,000 a month on just ONE credit card.

But, I do think she is getting greedy..."Bach is asking the judge to increase child support to $31,546 a month. Bach is also asking to increase her spousal support to $45,463 a month."

Yeah...because he would have spent as much in legal fees as he'll pay out in a year. I see it as kind of a plea bargain - less money for an immediate agreement.

I have no idea what his income is but if it's that much, the CS would still be low in my opinion and the SS WAY too high..(of course)

It just bothers me paying more in SS than CS.
