When does child support begin?!!!!

Hi all....please help. Does child support begin when the judges orders it, or is it retro from the date of the filing?

It starts from the date the judge orders it, not the date of seperation. I am a child support payer in GA.

Here in GA, it starts from the date the Judge orders it.
If you want back child support you have to request the Judge order it.
