...the real kid and which is the chalk kid?

While I finished the edging on the yard, my son drew a picture of himself and me. He laid down next to it and asked if I could tell which was the chalk kid and which was really him. LOL!
Obviously the one with the bad manicure & big hair is me.

Too cute.. I miss my kids when they were that age.. .now they are just a mouthy, moody teen, and a whiny pre-teen... God I can't wait till my vacation! LOL

Oh, Lisa, I am totally soakin' this kid UP!
My soon-to-be 13 year old kid is turning moody on me. Last night, it was like pulling teeth getting him to assist on the lawn. And this same kid who just a few months ago still wanted to sit on my lap? sudeenly, he's too cool to give his mommy kisses goodbye in the morning.
So, yeah, I am totally enjoying my little "baby" right now.

Honestly? I do get baby fever now and again. Fortunately, I have a sister who recently procreated, and there are a couple of people in the office with infants, so I do have a way of getting my "fix".

No baby fever here. Nope, uh-uh. My kids are 23 and 19 and I am totally enjoying the freedom of not having to tote around diaper bags, car seats, back packs, worrying about homework getting done, playing taxi driver. No way, not me, not ever. I "used to" really like being around little kids UNTIL I helped my ex out with his last situation and babysat for him a couple of times. That pretty much did me in as far as youngins are concerned. I think the time with those 2 babies of my ex also had a huge impact on my kids. After that, they couldn't stand little kids anymore.
