I understand that's what happened. My point was the laugh is on her as presumably getting his son back early is going to improve his summer not ruin it.
I can't understand any parent, mother of father, voluntarily giving up time with their children unless they were in the most dire of straights. Kids don't stay kids for long so you'd best enjoy them while you can.

We already have plans to go with another couple to Tunica, for gambling, not kid appropriate. Then other weekend we have plans, is a bed and breakfast with another couple.

Over the years I've had to cancel many plans because of an unexpected change related to who has the kids when. I just look at it as part of being a parent.
The last think you want to have happen is the kid being made to feel like a burden. His mothers already sending him home 7 weeks early. He can't feel too good about that.

Maritime, I guess you have't been around much during all of this. LeAnne can't stand this kid and makes no bones about it. Nobody in his family wants him, ESPECIALLY Leanne and the kid knows it.

I'm guessing he either stole money from her or was doing some shoplifting at a store and got caught? He might have snuck out and was missing for days? Might have taken her cigs? Who knows?
But I do know, that we will have to start locking everything up again, because he steals anything from us that is not nailed down.
We actually were glad he went to his mother's for the summer, we needed the break. Did you not see we live in FORT KNOX?

Please crawl back in your hole. I keep offering to send him to you for a little while, I'm sure he would have some great things to steal at your house, but you have never taken me up on the offer?

I don't envy your situation. Someone's got to step up to the plate though and get this kid turned around before it's too late. That is if it's not already too late.

Don't worry LeAnne...anytime someone on here posts about trouble with a step kid, which is often posted as a vent to get it out of their system so it keeps it away from the kid, it is assumed they hate the kid.
