Okay...lol...my boy's going pro!! All joking aside, he is AMAZING. The coaches have been hard on him, but he has improved 1000%. He has learned to control his batting and can put the ball where ever the coach wants it and NOTHING gets by him in RF.
This week, the coach has tried him playing him in a lot of different positions except the one position he really wants. He wants to be a pitcher!! I'd like to see him try it, but the team already has 3 of 'em that have been pitching for years. Jay keeps practicing out in the yard, tho, in case he ever gets his shot at it. I never really suspected that my son had that much drive.
The first AllStars game is tomorrow and I can't wait.

Sounds exciting for you both. I love to see kids thrive(especially at sports)! I just wish I had at least 1 that did....oh well, life goes on!

Isn't it fun to watch?
My boys are like that in soccer. DS11 is amazing. DS12 is pretty darn good for being the youngest in a league that puts him up against 14, 15 and even 16 year old kids.
Both boys are amazingly quick, too. DS12 held the record for the mile at the elemetary school. (I *think* it might have been broken though this year???)
DS8? Well, his skillz are with the ladies. I have GOT to watch that child, he loves girls and doesn't give a damm about sports. LOL!
