Huge lightening storm came through tonight! Yikes! I couldn't believe the bolts striking all around as I drove home with YDS. We needed the rain though, it is so brown and dry here. Luckily it is supposed to clear up for tomorrow, but then hopefully we will get some more rain:) Is everyone else going to have good weather for the weekend?

Apparently, no good weather here. Rain today, tonight, tomorrow morning, tomorrow afternoon, tomorrow evening, etc., etc., etc. - the entire weekend.
Well, we need the rain but I was hoping to get out in the garden and pull weeds (like the strange English lady gardner type - hat, leather gloves and long sleeves)!!! Takes all the fun out of gardening.

I don't fry but I'm not allowed to get a sunburn or a scratch from a plant or even take the chance of getting poison ivy, etc.

Tomorrow looks okay, but the weekend is only going to be in the 80s with a possible chance of scattered thunderboomers.
Glad the grass was cut today!

I am the weird one. I love a good thunder storm! I wish it would rain here. We are in a major drought. I was sure to turn the sprinkler system on last night so the neighborhood fireworks don't catch my parched grass on fire.
