Believe me, I understand. I'm raising SIX, expecting my seventh, and have two stepdaughters. I'd be upset too!!! It hardly seems fair.

But again, with alimony... he income will NOT factor in. She didn't divorce you, she doesn't have to pay you. And by factoring her income into the calculation, she would, in fact, be paying you.

As much as it sucks, it just won't happen. I'm sorry.

What I have learned is that this poster, a femin azi PIG has no qualms about disrupting our posts, but the Kf sure does not like us disrupting her posts.

Cute.

Guess what, PIG?

EVERYONE thinks that you are a controlling bytch...or is that butch?

This post is off topic, but what can one expect from a known femin azi PIG? Hmmmm?

hahahahahaha!!!! Can you just picture Erica in his moms basement, needing a shower, cracking open another beer, sitting at the computer in a wife beater and boxers, all gross and scuzzy, while looking at child p*rn? Boy, he sure is a keeper!

It sounds like you all are talking apples and oranges.

Racemom is saying that her alimony amount was based on the $300/month that her ex says he has left after his bills are paid because he is saying that he has a lot of expenses because he pays all of the rent/food/utilities in the apartment he shares with his gf. Racemom isn't saying the gf's income should count toward alimony or that gf must support her ex. She's just saying that she KNOWS he lied on his affadavit because she KNOWS that her ex doesn't pay all the expenses and have only $300 left at the end of the month.

Racermom......I suspect people are having a hard time with your point because alimony is usually figured out based on the difference between your's and your ex's income, NOT based on how much he has left at the end of the month.

Thank you finz - Finally someone who "gets it". He makes $70,000+ per year I make $23,000 per year. So along with his earnings being 2 and 1/2 times mine, and his exaggerated expenses, you would think I would be awarded more than $120 per month??? And by the way who is FRFATHER directing those replies to?

Any replies from FRfather or any of the other userid's (you'll get to know them real quick) are directed at anyone who has a brain and/or custody of their kids. He's a hateful, perverted, child molester who spends all of his time on the forums causing trouble. Just ignore him.

So, racemom, I see what you're saying now (Thanks Finz!). Would the courts be able to count the money that she's paying toward his bills as his income? Not count her total income, just the money that she's basically giving him? That would seem reasonable to me. If he had a roommate paying him part of the rent, he'd have to count that rental income, wouldn't he?

We only attack those that attack us, search us out to attack us, lie about us and never back up their crap with the truth.
