Hi everyone. My divorce is final but my ex filed for everything under the moon (9 motions) a week after he got married. We go to court at the end of April. My bedroom looks like a law library (and a laudromat!).
I received a copy of an attorney issued subpeona today requesting all info from my employer. I have some questions:
1) Do they/I have to comply since its not issued by the courts, but rather by their attorney?
2) They filed based on a material change in circumstance, is my income even relevant since I'm at the same job?
3) Working pro se, do I need to do the same thing or can I just include these things in the discovery questions?
4) When going to court, do they have to limit their case to the "material change in circumstance" as long as I object if they fall outside the scope of the motion?
5) If asked in the discovery questions (mailed last week), do they have to define the material change or am I just left to assume its their marraige?
Thank you all so much for your help and support!
-------------------- Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
